RETURNS, EXCHANGES & PRICE ADJUSTMENTS

At AMARA Clothing Boutique, each piece is intentionally curated in limited quantities with timeless design and refined detail. Because we operate within a small-batch, elevated retail model, our policies are structured to preserve product integrity while offering thoughtful flexibility.

We appreciate your understanding and your support of a boutique built on stewardship and intention.


STANDARD RETURN POLICY

Return Window

Within 7 Days of Delivery

You may choose one of the following:

• A refund to your original form of payment, subject to a 5% restocking fee
or
• Store credit with no restocking fee

Days 8–14 After Delivery

• Eligible for store credit only

After 14 Days

• Returns are not accepted


Return Requirements

All returned merchandise must meet the following standards:

• Unworn and unused
• Original tags attached
• No makeup, deodorant, or self-tanner transfer
• No perfume, smoke, or household odors
• No pet hair
• Original packaging included

Items that do not meet these standards may be declined and returned to sender.

Sale, promotional, discounted, special event, seasonal markdown, and clearance merchandise are final sale.


Processing & Fees

• Refunds to the original payment method incur a 5% restocking fee to offset transaction processing costs.
• Store credit carries no restocking fee.
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
• Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise approved.
• Orders over $150 that qualified for complimentary shipping will have the original shipping cost deducted if refunded to original payment.

All returns require prior email approval before being mailed.

Store credit does not expire and may be used in-store or online.


EXCHANGES

Exchanges are welcomed within 14 days of delivery.

To request an exchange, please email with:

• Your order number
• The item you are returning
• The size or style you would prefer

Once availability is confirmed, your exchange item will be reserved.

Returned merchandise must be mailed within 5–7 days of exchange approval. If not received within that timeframe, the exchange may be canceled.

If the exchange total is lower than your original purchase, the remaining balance will be issued as store credit. If higher, the difference will be invoiced prior to shipment.

Exchanges do not incur a restocking fee when the original purchase remains within the AMARA collection.


HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY (SEASONAL EXTENSION)

For purchases made between November 27 and December 24:

Returns may be submitted through January 31.

The same return structure applies:

• 7 days from delivery for refund to original payment (5% restocking fee)
• 14 days from delivery for store credit
• After 14 days from delivery, returns are not accepted

All holiday returns must meet standard return requirements.


PRICE MATCH POLICY

We stand confidently behind our pricing and our brand partnerships.

If an identical item is listed at a lower price on the original brand’s official website, we will honor a price adjustment within 14 days of your purchase.

Price Match Guidelines

• Item must be identical (same style, color, and size)
• Item must be in stock on the brand’s official website
• Request must be submitted within 14 days of original purchase
• Adjustments are issued as store credit only
• Applies to full-price merchandise only

Price matching does not apply to third-party retailers, flash sales, influencer codes, promotional events, or temporary markdowns outside standard retail pricing.

SHIPPING POLICY

Every AMARA order is packaged with care and excellence.

We currently ship within the United States.

Shipping Rates

• Complimentary standard shipping on orders over $150
• All other shipping rates calculated at checkout

If an order that qualified for complimentary shipping is refunded to original payment, the original shipping cost will be deducted in addition to the 5% restocking fee.

Processing Times

• Orders are processed daily
• Orders placed before 2 PM typically ship the same business day
• Orders placed after 2 PM ship the following business day
• We do not ship Sundays or Mondays
• Orders placed after 2 PM on Saturday ship Tuesday


DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery at:
