Dream Big Honduras: Empowering Education, Transforming Lives
"Since our inception in 2010, Dream Big Honduras has been on a mission to create brighter futures for the children of Pinalejo, Honduras. What began as a simple effort to support a small elementary school has grown into a transformative initiative. Initially, we focused on leading three mission trips annually to assist the school and its families. However, we soon recognized a significant gap: many children were dropping out after 6th grade due to financial constraints and lack of resources."
"This challenge inspired us to launch our signature program: the Tutorial Academy, which provides children in grades 7-12 with the tools they need to continue their education. Our program offers financial assistance, tutoring, internet access, printing facilities, and faith-based mentorship to ensure these students have the support they need to thrive academically and spiritually.
Thanks to this program, we’ve witnessed remarkable success:
• 12 high school graduates so far.
• 3 graduates continuing to college—a milestone we aim to grow in the coming years."
